Knitting pattern

The theme of the Fiskari sweater is my home village Fiskars. The colorwork pattern repeats the rhythms of the village buildings. Hidden in the patterns are the clock tower of the Fiskars ironworks, the threshing house, the granary, and the workers' houses of Peltorivi. This knit has the atmosphere of an old ironworks village.

The Fiskari yoke sweater is knitted seamlessly from top down. The colorwork pattern of the yoke is made with two colors. There are no long floats in the pattern. Therefore, this model is also suitable for beginners.

The knit is a classic yoke sweater with a regular fit. Short rows are knitted for the neckline and the lower part of the yoke. This ensures a good fit and a lower front neckline.

The yarn for the Fiskari sweater is PMK 100% alpaca DK. This yarn is especially soft and high-quality baby alpaca. The yarn does not itch and is well suited for sensitive skin. All DK weight yarns are suitable as substitutes. When knitting with Icelandic wool, the gauge may change. Test the gauge with a swatch and change needles to a smaller or larger size if necessary.

Sizes: S-M-L-XL-XXL-3XL-4XL, recommended ease 5-10 cm (2-4")

• Bust circumference 88-96-104-112-120 cm (35-38-41-44-47”)
• Body length at CB 62-64-66-68-70 cm (24½-25-26-26¾-27½”)
• Sleeve length at underarm 41-42-42-43-43 cm (16¼-16½-16½-17-17”)

	PMK 100 % alpaca DK 100% alpaca, 50 g = 112 m (123 yds),  you need: 350-400-450-500-550 g granite + 150-150-200-200-250 g natural white
	4 mm and 3.5 mm (US 6 and US 4) circular needles, 40 cm and 80 cm (16" and 32") and  4 mm and 3.5 mm (US 6 and US 4) double-pointed needles or according to yarn and your tension.
	22 sts and 28 rows = 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4") in stockinette stitch.
