First, the top band is knitted flat. The hood section is worked flat using stitches picked up along the edges of the top band. The shape of the hood is created with increases and decreases. The neck section is worked in the round.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWhen you knit the Katve hood together with the \u003cstrong\u003eKatve sweater\u003c\/strong\u003e, you get a delightful hoodie set. The separate hood makes the garment wonderfully versatile. Of course, both pieces can also be worn on their own.
